Welding Automation

About the role

To develop, implement and optimise welding automation and robotic welding systems to improve productivity, quality and process efficiency. To support new product development, robotic welding projects, commissioning and continuous improvement of welding processes.

What you'll do

• Conduct welding feasibility studies for new products covering joint design, weld accessibility, sequence and manufacturability
• Develop and optimise welding parameters, robot paths, weld sequence and cycle time for new and existing models
• Lead installation, commissioning, trials and production stabilisation of robotic welding lines/cells
• Lead automation projects and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Design and external automation vendors

What you need

• 8–12 yrs of experience
• Welding
• Maintenance
• B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

• CNC programming
