Wire cut Operator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Wirecut EDM Operator with 2–5 years of relevant experience in operating Wirecut EDM machines for precision machining of press-tool components, dies, punches, inserts and other engineering components.

What you'll do

• Operate Wirecut EDM machines for precision cutting of components as per drawings and production requirements
• Set and operate the machine, including job setting, wire threading, workpiece alignment and machine parameter setting
• Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and profiles
• Prepare/select appropriate machining parameters based on material, thickness and required accuracy
• Load and verify CNC programs and carry out necessary basic corrections

What you need

• 2–5 yrs of experience
• Machining
• CNC operation
• ITI
