Workday Extend Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer to design, build, and deploy custom web applications and business extensions directly within the native Workday cloud platform. The ideal candidate will leverage Workday Extend capabilities to create unique user interfaces, build custom database objects, orchestrate data pipelines, and address unique business scenarios without relying on siloed third-party software applications.

What you'll do

• Design and develop high-performance custom applications using the Workday Extend framework, Page Builder, and the App Components library
• Build custom database structures , configuring custom data objects, fields, and relationships within the Workday environment while maintaining data consistency
• Expose and consume programmatic endpoints , constructing custom data serialization loops using Workday REST APIs, external APIs
• Configure custom security permissions , establishing secure application execution rules, identity authorization loops
• Perform database optimization code remediation , auditing application telemetry, tracking system processing latencies
