Workday Test Engineer

About the role

This position combines functional and integration testing, test planning, defect management, and test automation across multiple projects and workstreams. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, Learning, and Digital Technology teams to validate business processes and deliver dependable system functionality.

What you'll do

• Analyze requirements and plan testing: Review project requirements for Workday HR solutions, assess functional and integration needs
• Design and document test cases: Develop, maintain, and execute test cases covering relevant Workday functional areas
• Test Workday functionality: Validate HR solutions across areas such as Human Capital Management (HCM), Recruiting, Core Compensation, Talent and Performance, Time-Off
• Perform release testing: Support Workday release testing to verify system changes, assess potential impacts
• Manage defects and resolutions: Document test execution results and defects in Jira, collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve issues
