Workday Time Tracking & Absence Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking & Absence Management Specialist to design, configure, and optimize our global workforce tracking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will translate complex regional labor laws, intricate shift differential matrices, overtime calculations, and multi-country leave accrual rules into highly accurate, automated cloud solutions.

What you'll do

• Configure and manage Workday Time Tracking components , including time entry templates, time card calculation rules, period schedules, and clock-in/out rounding rules
• Design and maintain Absence Management architectures , structuring time off plans, leave of absence types, accrual calculations, and balance tracking rules
• Construct complex time calculation tags and rate rules , automating shift differentials, statutory holiday premiums, and multi-tiered overtime thresholds
• Build advanced business process (BP) routing paths , configuring conditional validation rules to catch time-entry anomalies, missing manager approvals
• Govern compliance and localized rules , updating validation rules in response to changes in regional labor laws, collective bargaining agreements
