Workday US Payroll and Benefits Analyst

About the role

You will design, build, test and maintain the setup that drives accurate pay and benefits, and partner with HR, Finance and IT to keep it compliant with US federal and state regulations. This is a system ownership role, not a payroll processing role.

What you'll do

• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll and Benefits end to end: pay groups, earnings and deductions, pay calculations, withholding and tax setup, benefit plans
• Build and maintain business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, security and role assignments for payroll and benefits
• Translate HR, Finance and compliance requirements into system design. Write requirements, configuration specs and test plans, and run testing through to sign-off
• Lead testing and deployment of Workday releases for Payroll and Benefits, including regression testing and adoption of new functionality, with the HRIS team
• Design, support and troubleshoot integrations with third-party payroll, tax and benefits vendors, including file setup, error resolution and reconciliation
