About the role
The Senior Cost Center, Profitability Accounting Specialist supports business units in preparing company income statements, focusing on cost center allocations, variance explanations, and monthly EBIT analysis.
What you'll do
- Process the complete monthly distribution of expenses across cost objects and generate monthly income statements to support business decision-making
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of information between the financial accounting and management accounting modules
- Review and analyze the correct allocation of monthly and annual income-statement positions
- Analyze variances against prior periods and support monthly EBIT reporting and explanations
- Actively participate in merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects involving business lines or companies
