About the role
Job Title- Business Finance Senior Analyst, AYST The senior Analyst will support end-to-end business finance control for Securitised Products trading business with primary focus on Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), Collateralised Mortgage Obligations (CMOs). The role ensures accurate, timely and well controlled daily P&L, balance sheet substantiation, independent price verification and reconciliation of front-office to general ledger.
What you'll do
- Providing daily commentary and FVA variance investigation to Front Office traders and senior Finance managers
- Analyse mortgage-specific drivers including prepayment speeds, CPR, PSA, TBA Exposure and Spec Pool valuation that impacts P&L nos
- Responsible for ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to and updated for effectiveness on a timely basis
