About the role
We are looking for an experienced Forging Shop Supervisor to oversee and coordinate heavy forging operations involving a 45 MN Hydraulic Press and Forging Manipulator. The role involves supervising production activities, managing manpower, ensuring equipment efficiency, maintaining product quality, and achieving production targets while adhering to safety standards.
What you'll do
- Supervise daily forging shop operations using 45 MN hydraulic presses and manipulators
- Plan and coordinate forging activities according to production schedules and work orders
- Oversee billet heating, reheating, transfer, pressing, forging, cooling, and material handling
- Monitor forging parameters, including temperature, reduction ratio, and deformation sequence
- Coordinate with furnace, quality, maintenance, production planning, and inspection departments
