About the role
The QC Inspector – Dimensional is responsible for inspecting the dimensions of castings and forgings against customer specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable standards at various stages of the casting process. The role ensures that product dimensions meet customer requirements and supports quality control through dimensional inspection, documentation, non-conformance follow-up, and corrective action coordination.
What you'll do
- Carry out dimensional inspection of castings and forgings according to engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Measure and verify product dimensions in accordance with ISO 8062 standards, customer requirements, or applicable drawings
- Conduct visual inspections of sample castings and forgings
- Perform dimensional audit inspections of bulk castings and forgings
- Ensure casting markings and lettering comply with customer drawings and specifications
