About the role

Assists the Director of Sales or Director of Sales and Marketing in management of all sales activities and events including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations and management of the sale team. Also to manage sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy for your hotel

What you'll do

• Maintain files, records and reports as it pertains to: budgets, contacts, planning activities, time lines, contracts, purchase orders and post meeting notes
• Complete forecasts, plans, and productivity reports for management
• Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and upsell products and services while minimising waste to…
• Negotiate room prices, sell USPs and hotel services within approved departmental booking guidelines
• Monitors local competitors and compare their operation with his/her operation
