About the role
In this leadership role, you will combine hands-on testing expertise with team management to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software products. You will drive test automation initiatives, establish effective testing practices, and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing
- Review test cases, automation scripts, and testing results to ensure accuracy, coverage, and alignment with business requirements
- Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools
- Analyse testing metrics and results to identify trends, evaluate product quality, and recommend process improvements
- Lead test automation initiatives by developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright
