About the role
The ideal candidate is a full-time Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering graduate with 15-20 years of manufacturing experience in automotive or consumer durable. They should possess strong expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, press shop, stamping, and assembly operations, Experience from automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or manufacturers of small consumer appliances preferred.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end production operations across sheet metal stamping, press shop, and multiple assembly lines at a large manufacturing plant
- Drive productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery performance through effective manufacturing leadership
- Manage a large workforce comprising engineers, unionised employees, and contract workforce while ensuring harmonious industrial relations
- Collaborate closely with Quality, PPIC, Stores, Maintenance, and Plant Finance to achieve operational objectives
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency
