About the role
The Manager, Internal Controls will be based in India . In this position, you will report to the Head of Internal Controls. This role manages and develops a team of internal controls professionals while partnering with Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, Legal, and external auditors. The manager sets team priorities, oversees routine operating plans and costs, and guides risk assessments, control design and testing, remediation, and readiness efforts.
What you'll do
- People leadership and team operations
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of internal controls professionals; set clear goals, assign work, review quality and timeliness, provide ongoing feedback
- Plan and allocate team capacity against monthly and routine operating plans; monitor milestones, workload, and costs, and raise resource or schedule risks with leadership
- Apply company policies consistently, address routine team matters, and recommend improvements to procedures and practices within the function
