About the role
We are seeking applications for the position of Ecological Consultant for upcoming Renewable Energy project in South Asia.
What you'll do
- Update the site-specific flora and fauna inventory prior to land clearing, identify sensitive habitats, threatened species as per the IUCN Red List
- Monitor changes in vegetation cover, surface water quality, bird and small mammal activity, and soil health
- Supervise implementation of activities related to biodiversity management and other ecological aspects as a part of mitigation measures as covered in the EMP and…
- Provide the overall guidance to the Ecological Consultant (National) in the implementation of EMP related to ecological mitigation measures
- Work jointly with the Ecologist (National) in biodiversity baseline verification, monitoring, mitigation review, contractor compliance checks
