About the role
We are seeking a finance professional to support capital expenditure (Capex) accounting, financial analysis, and reporting within a shared services environment. This role plays a key part in month-end close, balance sheet integrity, stakeholder collaboration with local market finance teams, and adherence to group accounting policies and controls.
What you'll do
- Prepare and analyse monthly Budget versus Actual Capex data, including variance analysis
- Manage month-end close activities, including depreciation analysis, accruals, provisions, and related approvals
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly to a high standard
- Collaborate with local market FinOps teams and business stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate Capex spend analysis
- Use financial systems such as SAP to analyse asset-related risks and ensure appropriate provisions in the fixed asset register
