About the role
The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for leading the architecture, design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions for GoLINC products deployed in the rail industry. This role provides technical leadership across projects, drives design and implementation of complex features, and ensures delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded and application software for GoLINC products
- Drive software architecture, design decisions, and technology adoption for strategic initiatives
- Translate product and system requirements into robust software designs and implementation plans
- Review and approve software design documents, and technical specifications and implementation details
- Provide technical leadership in resolving complex system-level issues and performance bottlenecks
