Accountant - GTR and CIS - 9 Month Maternity Leave Contract (Jack Daniel's)

About the role

This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the GTR & CIS regions’ financial records in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and B-F internal policies and procedures. Responsibilities include partnering closely with the business by providing advice on accounting and compliance matters and leading the implementation of new systems, special projects, and accounting standards for the region.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with a diverse, international team and make a significant impact on our global success story
• Support financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities for the GTR & CIS markets, including monthly, quarterly
• Partner with GTR & CIS Commercial and Finance teams to improve accounting process efficiency and effectiveness
• Perform relevant accounting functions for the region, including closing and balance sheet reconciliation in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide daily accounting support, including booking journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and completing month-end close activities
