Senior Accountant Africa

About the role

This role is primarily responsible for ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of the Africa region's financial records across legal entities, complying with US GAAP, IFRS, local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and B-F internal policies and procedures.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with a diverse, international team and make a significant impact on our global success story
• Support and oversee financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities for Africa markets, including monthly, quarterly
• Partner with Africa Area Commercial and Finance teams to provide accounting guidance and improve process efficiency and effectiveness
• Lead and perform key Record to Report (R2R) accounting functions for the region, including ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry bookings
• Collaborate with Africa area Finance, Corporate Tax, Legal, Treasury, and GBS teams to resolve complex accounting issues and provide support

What you need

• Chartered Accountant or B.Com or BBA
