What you'll do

• Keep clients’ books up to date in Xero: bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledgers, and month and year end adjustments
• Prepare VAT returns under Making Tax Digital for review
• Prepare draft year end accounts and, as you grow, corporation tax returns
• Check your own work before sending it for review, and act on corrections
• Chase clients early for missing records, and tell your Senior Accountant in good time when a deadline is at risk
