Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of bookkeeping clients and ensure accurate, reliable, and timely financial records. In this fully remote role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage monthly and quarterly bookkeeping activities, and maintain high standards of financial accuracy.

What you'll do

• Independently manage an assigned portfolio of bookkeeping clients, ensuring consistent and high-quality accounting services
• Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online, including transaction reviews, categorization, account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records in accordance with established accounting standards and internal procedures
• Communicate professionally with clients, primarily via email, to address accounting questions, request missing documentation, clarify transactions
• Proactively follow up on outstanding information and escalate complex accounting issues when necessary
