About the role

This is a foundational role — the first in-house accounting hire in India — responsible for owning the full accounting operations for the India entity, managing the relationship with our outsourced accounting firm, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This position will work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager on key processes, policies, and building out

What you'll do

• Responsible for owning the full accounting operations for the India entity, managing the relationship with our outsourced accounting firm
• Reconcile, analyze, and resolve questions regarding assigned general ledger accounts timely and accurately, including multi-currency and complex bank accounts
• Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, providing flux explanations for significant variances to management
• Oversee preparation of supporting schedules and footnotes for local financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage India statutory compliance including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other filings in coordination with the outsourced accounting firm and corporate tax team
