About the role

Accounting - Tax at Cogneesol. Review client documents including W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, brokerage statements, and financial records.

What you'll do

  • Review client documents including W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, K-1s, brokerage statements, and financial records
  • Prepare individual tax returns (Form 1040) with applicable schedules
  • Assist in preparation of business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065)
  • Enter and manage financial data in tax software
  • Reconcile income sources such as wages, interest, dividends, and capital gains
