About the role

The Area Credit Manager (ACM) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end credit approval process within defined turnaround times (TAT), ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards, and maintaining the overall portfolio quality across assigned branches. The role involves regular branch engagement, audit compliance, risk monitoring, and effective implementation of credit policies at the field level.

What you'll do

• Ensure timely processing and approval of loan proposals within the stipulated TAT
• Monitor post-approval audit observations and ensure prompt closure of compliance requirements
• Analyse stage-wise loan rejections and track trends to identify gaps and areas for improvement
• Product & Policy Implementation
• Ensure effective and timely implementation of Head Office circulars, new product guidelines, and revised credit policies across all assigned branches
