Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Sr. Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share expansion for Becton Dickinson (BD) India Private Limited in West Bengal. This role involves developing strategic sales plans and fostering strong customer relationships to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and market share objectives within the assigned territory
• Identify and cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders, distributors, and large institutional customers (hospitals, diagnostic labs
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales approaches
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technical support, and product management teams to ensure seamless customer experience and effective product launches
• Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes, providing accurate and timely updates to senior management
