About the role

Develop and improve stamping processes for new product development and design modifications, applying value engineering principles. Design stamping dies using CATIA (2D/3D), UG NX, AutoCAD and DelCAM , with strong knowledge of die types, materials and elements. Analyse panel defects, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve component quality.

What you'll do

• Develop and improve stamping processes for new product development and design modifications, applying value engineering principles
• Analyse panel defects, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve component quality
• Evaluate press suitability based on tonnage, shut height and operating parameters ; calculate tonnage considering shear and tensile stress
• Manage RFQs, supplier coordination, procurement, press selection, trials and implementation
• Lead modification and refurbishment of existing dies through scanning, feasibility studies and improvement proposals

What you need

• 3–10 yrs of experience
• AutoCAD
• CATIA
• Siemens NX
• CNC operation
• Root cause analysis
• IATF 16949
• B.Tech or B.E.
