Assistant Engineer - Tool & Fixtures

About the role

Engineering associated with the aerospace Tools & Tooling process. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operation framework. Reading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings.

What you'll do

• Responsible for upkeeping, availability of Fixtures, Gauges and Press Dies required in shop operations
• Participate in design reviews, manufacturing review and conduct prove out and validation trials
• Identify innovative solutions in Tools & Fixtures, to support running a safe and productive manufacturing activity
• Work with CFT team in proving Tool maintenance & tool manufacturing process
• Guide operating teams effectively & address complex technical challenges, bolstering culture of problem solving
