Assistant Manager - Procurement

About the role

The Procurement team at OakNorth manages supplier relationships, contract lifecycle activities, and purchasing operations across our India, UK, and US entities. We work closely with Finance, Legal, IT, and Compliance to ensure every supplier engagement is commercially sound, compliant, and well-governed — while continuously improving the processes and tools that underpin our procurement function.

What you'll do

• Lead sourcing and tendering activities for new and renewing supplier engagements, including RFx preparation and evaluation
• Manage contract lifecycle activities — drafting, negotiation support, execution, amendments, and renewals — in collaboration with Legal
• Support category management across key spend areas, identifying consolidation opportunities and preferred supplier strategies
• Create and process purchase requisitions (PRs) in NetSuite, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and budget alignment; upload vendor invoices, match against POs
• Manage vendor onboarding and offboarding, maintain records in Salesforce, and support supplier governance and performance review meetings; resolve exceptions
