Assistant Manager, Reporting & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous, accountable, and technically sound professional to join our Reporting & Compliance function. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with a primary focus on core accounting, payroll accounting, fixed asset accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities across multiple entities.

What you'll do

• Core Accounting & Month-End Close: Manage assigned accounting activities and support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process
• Ensure that accounting entries, provisions, accruals, expense allocations and other closing activities are completed accurately and within stipulated timelines
• Review transactions for appropriate accounting treatment and ensure that financial records are complete, accurate and supported by relevant documentation
• Reconcile payroll records with the general ledger and supporting reports, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Perform periodic reconciliation of the fixed asset register with the general ledger, calculate and record depreciation
