Assistant Manager Sourcing

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you'll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Strategic Sourcing to lead strategic procurement initiatives for key direct material commodities.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for assigned commodities including EMS, PCBA, electronic components, wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, sheet metal
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and technology requirements
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including supplier identification, RFQ/RFP management, commercial negotiations, supplier selection, and contract execution
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers while driving improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, risk evaluations, capacity analysis, and supplier audits to ensure business continuity

What you need
