Assistant Manager-SOX & Finance Internal Audit

About the role

The role documents, tests and reports on the design and operating effectiveness of financial controls, supporting the VP – SOX and Finance Audits in delivering the Group's overall ICFR compliance programme.

What you'll do

• Perform walkthroughs of key financial and entity-level controls across assigned business cycles to confirm and update process narratives and flowcharts
• Maintain and update the Risk & Control Matrix (RCM) for assigned cycles, ensuring controls remain aligned to current processes and financial statement risks
• Execute Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Operating Effectiveness (TOE) for financial controls in line with the approved SOX testing plan and sampling methodology
• Identify control deficiencies, gather supporting evidence, and work with process/control owners to determine root cause
• Draft clear, well-evidenced testing workpapers and findings summaries for review by the VP – SOX and Finance Audits

What you need

• 4–7 yrs of experience
