Associate Engineer Supplier Quality

About the role

Associate Engineer Supplier Quality at Eaton. The principal role of Supplier Quality Engineer is to evaluate 8D ,PPAP,SSA submitted by suppliers on the defects reported by Eaton plants.

What you'll do

• Identify the gaps in submitted documents , communicate back to supplier & take follow up for correction
• Ensure corrective actions implemented at supplier end and respective manufacturing process thru identifying root cause of defects occurred in the supplied parts
• Ensure development of Supplier Quality System through trainings
• Sites, communicate back to supplier & take follow up for improvement actions. Ensure supplier training and actions
• Implemented in respective process for defect free product supply with aiming overall supplier performance improvement

What you need

• 6–8 yrs of experience
• PPAP
• APQP
• GD&T
• SPC
• Root cause analysis
• B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

• Machining
