Associate Manager, Financial Control (FTC: 12 months)

About the role

The main responsibilities of this role will be preparing, developing, and analysing financial information so that the London Stock Exchange Group’s senior management can make well-informed decisions, leading to future stability, growth, and profitability. The role focuses on core accounting skills, working across different business divisions in order to support the whole organisation.

What you'll do

• Preparation of month-end accounts close and review processes to ensure accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet, and adherence to all Group reporting deadlines
• Responsible for on-boarding of additional scope and aligning the process according to the TOM
• Ensure that the team meet tight reporting deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and substantiations
• Support the external audit process for companies within scope including liaising with the external auditors to address their questions and requests (CAS)
