Associate Staff Accountant

About the role

Reporting to the accounting manager, the Associate Staff Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of activities concentrating mainly on the administration of Forrester’s EMEA entities, as well as supporting projects on the finance team. This individual will work as part of the European finance team to maintain high-quality and accurate reporting and to drive projects focusing on efficiency and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Administer the month-end and quarter-end close in accordance with GAAP, including reconciliation of all general ledger accounts for selected EMEA entity
• Maintain the fixed asset register, bank reconciliation, other balance sheet account specifications, and intercompany transactions
• Liaise with the payroll team regarding the accurate and timely processing of payroll
• Liaise and manage relationships with local accounting firms to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Recommend and implement improvements to further automate close processes
