Automotive CAD Conversion Engineer (CATIA to UGNX)

About the role

We are looking for experienced Automotive CAD Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Siemens NX (UGNX), CATIA V5, and Teamcenter. The primary responsibility will be to convert existing CATIA CAD data (both neutral formats such as STEP and native parametric models) into fully editable, parametric Siemens NX models while preserving the original design intent, geometry, features, and engineering requirements.

What you'll do

• Convert CATIA V5 CAD data, including native parametric models and neutral formats (STEP/IGES), into Siemens NX parametric models
• Rebuild and recreate parametric features, sketches, constraints, surfaces, and solid models in UGNX
• Ensure converted models maintain original geometry, dimensional accuracy, design intent, and feature integrity
• Handle complex automotive components and assemblies across different vehicle perimeters such as BIW, Interior Trims, Exterior Trims, Closures
• Perform geometry validation, dimensional checks, and comparison between source CATIA data and converted UGNX data

What you need

• 2–8 yrs of experience
• CATIA
• Siemens NX
• Mechanical engineering
• B.Tech or B.E.
