AVP - CRE- Credit Analytics

About the role

The Credit Analytics team sits at the heart of OakNorth’s lending business, delivering rigorous financial and credit analysis across a diverse portfolio of commercial loan opportunities. We’re looking for an Associate Vice President to join our Credit Analytics team, specialising in Commercial Real Estate lending across the UK and US.

What you'll do

• Conduct detailed analysis of loan opportunities across all major CRE property types — Residential, Office, Retail, Industrial, Lodging
• Draft concise, well-structured credit reports with clear key takeaways for Credit and Risk to review and comment on
• Build detailed financial models covering transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, ratio analysis, and credit metrics
• Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing on projections to assess loan serviceability under adverse scenarios
• Identify deal-specific covenants that can serve as early warning signals for loan monitoring purposes
