About the role
We are seeking an experienced BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) Specialist with 10-12 years of expertise in bar bending schedules, reconciliation, and bill of materials management for construction projects.
What you'll do
- Prepare, review, and validate detailed Bar Bending Schedules for construction projects ensuring accuracy in steel reinforcement calculations and bending details
- Conduct thorough reconciliation of steel consumption against approved BBS and actual site usage, identifying variances and cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and manage comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for steel reinforcement, tracking procurement and inventory levels
- Leverage advanced Excel, AI tools, and Power BI to analyze project data, create dashboards, and provide real-time insights to stakeholders
- Maintain BBS certification and ensure all documentation meets regulatory compliance and industry standards
