About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Design Engineer with deep expertise in the design and development of power electronics for EV charging infrastructure. This role is dedicated solely to the development of high-performance hardware solutions—from schematic design and component selection to PCB layout and integration of power conversion modules.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed schematics for high-power charging systems, including AC/DC and DC/DC converters, pre-charge circuits, and protection circuitry
• Design circuits incorporating high-voltage components, such as power MOSFETs (Silicon, SiC, GaN) diodes, and snubber networks for transient suppression
• Create isolation circuits using opto-isolators and isolation transformers to ensure safe power conversion
• Translate complex schematics into optimized PCB layouts, addressing high-current traces, controlled impedance, and thermal management
• Integrate key components including high-power converters, switching regulators, EMI filters, inductors, and capacitor banks into cohesive designs
