Chiller Operator cum MEP Technician

About the role

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across the university campus. The role ensures safe, efficient, and uninterrupted functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire-fighting systems while supporting campus administration and infrastructure needs.

What you'll do

• Maintain thorough knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Fire Alarm Systems, Plumbing, and Fire-Fighting systems
• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, chiller plants, and filter replacements
• Maintain electrical systems including lighting, switches, power outlets, fire alarms, security systems, and CCTV infrastructure
• Manage plumbing systems including STP operations, piping networks, and gas delivery systems for canteen and laboratory areas
• Ensure adequate ventilation, environmental controls, safety precautions, and preventive maintenance for modern building infrastructure
