About the role
We are looking for a CMS & DAM Engineer to join a greenfield digital news platform build for a major international news brand. There is no legacy system, no migration burden — this is a new platform built from scratch, video-first and breaking-news-first, designed to sustain extreme traffic during major events and support complete newsroom workflows from draft to publish.
What you'll do
- CMS Configuration & Development
- Configure and develop the selected CMS platform — AEM or Amplience
- Implement content models, templates, components, and editorial configurations
- Configure authoring, approval, scheduling, and publishing workflows to support full newsroom operations
- Support breaking-news and major-event editorial capabilities, including homepage mode-switching under high traffic
