Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) engineering team. You will be working with a global team to build next-generation data protection services focused on ensuring data resilience for our customers. This is a unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects, building features from the ground up that will be deployed and utilized worldwide.

What you'll do

• Design and develop reliable, scalable and globally available cloud services that protect data stored in SaaS services like Microsoft 365
• Participate in technical design discussions, reviewing code, and providing feedback to other engineers
• Ensure your code is high-quality, thoroughly tested, and secure
• Take ownership of the reliability and efficiency of your services running in the cloud
• Participate in on-call rotation for product operations
