Compliance Officer

About the role

Compliance at this firm is not a support function. It is a cornerstone of how we operate, how we grow, and how we earn and maintain the trust of our investors, our regulators, and our partners. The Compliance Officer in Mumbai owns that cornerstone. You will be the firm's primary regulatory authority across all Mumbai-based entities, with scope extending to GIFT City operations as part of a unified compliance mandate.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end compliance with all applicable SEBI regulations governing Alternative Investment Funds, fund management, PPM updates, annual compliance audit reports
• Ensure full adherence to RBI and FEMA requirements including foreign investment reporting, Form 15CA/CB, Form 3CEB, ECB compliances
• Oversee all MCA and ROC obligations including statutory filings, board resolutions, and secretarial compliance under the Companies Act across all group entities
• Obtain confirmation of timely and accurate completion of all statutory filings across entities, including IT returns, TDS, and GST
• Own the compliance calendar as a regulatory obligation. Every filing, every deadline, and every disclosure is tracked, prepared, and submitted on time
