Credit Manager-FI Risk

About the role

The Credit Manager – FI Risk is a key position within the Wholesale Banking Risk function, based in Mumbai. The role involves managing the bank’s lending process, including evaluating clients’ creditworthiness, approving or rejecting loan requests, and determining loan terms and interest rates.

What you'll do

• Conduct regular asset quality reviews and provide analytical insights to identify risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate actions
• Research and evaluate the creditworthiness of clients
• Approve or reject loan requests based on credibility, potential revenue, and risk of losses
• Calculate and set interest rates; negotiate loan terms with clients
• Ensure credit policies and risk acceptance criteria are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect changes in legal/regulatory requirements, business strategies

What you need
