About the role

Data Center Technician perform 24x7 shifts for Data Centers. Handle incidents and ensure safety requirements are met. Monitor environmental, power and server hardware. Handle cabling tasks for copper and fiber. Control access into the data centers, ensure work permits and material gate passes are issued.

What you'll do

  • Operate and support Data Center facilities on a 24x7 shift basis, ensuring safety and uptime
  • Perform racking, de-racking, and physical installation of servers, network devices, power, KVM, and cabling
  • Handle copper and fiber cabling in compliance with TIA-942 standards
  • Monitor and record environmental and facility systems including power, HVAC, fire detection/suppression, temperature, and humidity
  • Perform break/fix support for Windows and Linux servers in coordination with system owners and hardware vendors
