About the role

The Data Operations team within SSGA Investment Operations is seeking a highly motivated and innovative data governance professional. This role collaborates with partners across the firm to execute activities within our Data Modernization Strategy, including establishing a data management culture and enhancing data stewardship.

What you'll do

Implement the Data Governance Strategy by collaborating with global business and technical partners to define governance objectives, communicate initiatives, issues
Lead process improvement and automation initiatives through business analysis, requirements documentation, and process re-engineering
Collaborate with data stewards, data consumers, and policymakers to reduce risk and strengthen processes
Contribute to strategic and tactical initiatives that transition the Organisation from an application-centric to a data-centric architecture
Perform data operations on the data platform across domains including, but not limited to, Security, Benchmark, Holdings, Client, Product, and Account
