Data Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Engineer II, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of data solutions that support General Mills’ business. You will design and execute data and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) testing, validate data across systems, and partner with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver trusted insights.

What you'll do

• Design and execute test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test data for data, extract-transform-load (ETL), business intelligence, and related technology solutions
• Review data models, data mappings, architecture documentation, and requirements to identify test coverage, risks, and validation needs
• Write and execute SQL queries (inside BigQuery) to validate, reconcile, and compare data across source systems, transformations
• Perform validation of end to end data flow from source to destination including reports (Tableau Reports)
• Perform Data Quality Checks, and document results, defects, evidence, and recommendations
