Deputy Manager/ Manager - Mechanical Design

About the role

Responsible for providing technical guidance to the drafting team for MT, Sugar and FGD projects. Review and provide support to the team on standard, customized and non-standard designs and resolve technical queries raised during drawing preparation. Handle major pre-order engineering activities, including mechanical TQs, TL-to-TL confirmation, preliminary column sketches and sales drawings.

What you'll do

• Responsible for providing technical guidance to the drafting team for MT, Sugar and FGD projects
• Review and provide support to the team on standard, customized and non-standard designs and resolve technical queries raised during drawing preparation
• Handle major pre-order engineering activities, including mechanical TQs, TL-to-TL confirmation, preliminary column sketches and sales drawings
• Provide support to drafting team in resolving engineering discrepancies/queries raised by Production, Project/Execution teams and customers
• Provide training to new team members on drawing preparation, product knowledge, past-order references and engineering documentation in compliance with ISO requirements
