EA to the High Commissioner and Deputy High Commissioner (Briefing and Coordination), Grade- EO, New Delhi

About the role

This role sits at the centre of the High Commissioner and Deputy High Commissioner's Private Office and is responsible for coordination, briefing and follow-up that enables them to operate effectively across one of the UK's largest overseas networks. The successful candidate will manage a constant flow of competing priorities, often balancing multiple briefing commissions, senior visits, correspondence requests and stakeholder engagements at the same time.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end briefing process for the High Commissioner and Deputy High Commissioner, ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality briefing for meetings
• Manage the flow of correspondence, submissions and sensitive material on behalf of both principals
• Translate meeting objectives into clear briefing commissions and coordinate input from teams across the India Network and Whitehall
• Manage personal inboxes and support effective decision-making through timely triage and coordination
• Lead Private Office coordination for engagement with the diplomatic community, Heads of Mission and international partners
