About the role
Supervise installation, testing and pre-commissioning of substation primary equipment, gantries, busbars, conductors, earthing, cabling and associated electrical systems.
What you'll do
- Review approved electrical drawings, equipment layouts, erection manuals, method statements and ITPs
- Verify foundation and interface readiness before equipment installation
- Supervise erection of GIS/AIS equipment, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, CTs, CVTs, VTs, surge arresters and insulators
- Monitor erection of power transformers, converter transformers, reactors, filters and auxiliary transformers
- Supervise gantry erection, flexible busbar stringing, rigid bus installation and jumper connections
What you need
- 5–8 yrs of experience
