About the role

Engineer I Wet Seal Repair at Smiths Group. Review & processing of stakeholder Project Requests.

What you'll do

  • Review & processing of stakeholder Project Requests
  • Follow standard application & design engineering techniques and procedures to select, apply, design and draft wet seal products to repair or replace seals
  • Where necessary, liaise with Global Engineering Product Groups and other SMEs to provide ‘Right first time’ design solutions
  • Perform basic engineering calculations as required to validate design or create new designs. Familiarity with web calcs an advantage
  • Basic use of FEA tools like CSTEDY & similar tools for simple design analysis an advantage

What you need

  • 1–3 yrs of experience
  • PLC
  • B.Tech or B.E.

Good to have

  • ANSYS
